The Riding School

Guided by the principals, rules and methods of modern equestrian education, our teaching is adjusted specifically to the trainee so he can get the most out of the lessons which are organized in three different levels of equestrian learning:

• Vaulting
• Medium level
• Advanced level (teaching and obstacles)

We are open all year except Easter, Christmas and New Year's Day.

During the vacation periods we also organize spare time programmes.

How the Equestrian School works

The Equestrian Centre is leaded by the Rider Camilo Borges, Equestrian Instructor, with the help of Colonel Manuel Neves Veloso , Equestrian Master.

Every lesson, independently of the instructor, is supervised by the Centre's technical administration.

The students are enrolled and fitted according to their level of aptitude: Vaulting, Medium, and Advanced.

The lessons will be booked according to the availability and the working hours of the Centre.

It is mandatory to sign the personal injuries insurance available in our office.

Booked lessons can only be cancelled with a minimum of 48 hours notice, otherwise the lesson may be counted as a given lesson.

It is also mandatory the use of an Equestrian outfit composed by boots (or spats), shorts and helmet (optional for adults). During the first lessons, mainly during vaulting, the students may use a track suit or equivalent.

All students have to be present in the school 10 minutes before the start of the class.
